We purchased 18 Rood Road, Hampton, CT 06247 the beginning of 2016 from the owner as it was listed for tax auction. There was a lot of clean out to be done and took us through February to complete. The beginning of March we had the house cleaned out with basically a clean slate in front of us. In under 8 weeks, we had taken a house that needed a lot of TLC to a move-in ready, “Like-New” updated home.
This was a large project to take on due to the @ 3100 sq ft. size and being 7 hours away. Like any type of construction project, not everything went according to plan as some tasks had to be done out of sequence, tasks and costs were added to the list (aka New Roof!) and the rest was a lot of long hours and hard work. The end result – a gorgeous “Almost New” home.
